40th Sale

A couple of weeks ago I made my 40th sale on my Etsy shop.  That was my goal for the year and I made it.  I want to make some more sales by the end of the year.

I am going to have another jewelry party in a week.  I made a lot of pieces for it.  Can't wait to have it.

Jewelry Party

Over the weekend I had my first jewelry party.  It was a great success.  I sold 42 pieces and made some great money.  It was a lot of fun.  Everybody was please with their pieces that they pick out.  I am hopefully going to work on more pieces to do another party before the holidays.  I got a couple of orders that I have to make for some people.

In September there will be a bead show at the casino for a few days.  Can't wait to go.

Silk Knotting

Today I took a class learning how to do Silk Knotting.  It was a lot fun and quick to learn.  I will be making some more of these.

Stretched Bracelet

I am trying to learn something new.  I did my first stretch bracelet.  Just need to practice more to get better at it.  Hope to make some for my shop.

I made these 5 pair of earrings today.  I will be putting them up soon.

34th Sale

I made my 34th sale over the weekend.  I sold a pair of pink hoop earrings.

I am 6 sales away from my goat this year.  I hope to get to 40 sales by the end of the year.  I think that is a good goal to have.  Go small.

I just need to make more pieces and put them up.  I have some good ideas in my head.  I have been looking at magazines to see colors and ideas.  I have great pieces to put up.

Necklace

Yesterday I made this necklace.  I call it the Hawaiian Necklace.  It was fun to make.  It has brown flowers, brown beads and gold color beads.

Vintage Jewelry

Yesterday I got a box of vintage jewelry from my dad's partner.  They were of his mother's.  There are a lot of clip on vintage earrings.  I even found some pieces that I can change them to regular earrings for my mother.  I am thinking of putting some of them up on my shop next week when I have a chance too.  Can't wait to see what else I can do with them.

Bead Shows

Over the two days I went to a couple of bead shows.  I didn't really buy that much this year which is good.  I still have a enough stuff to go through.  I did get more shining beads to make more sun catchers.  I also got some more ear wire findings.  I bought some pearls and clear beads to make couple of bracelets or a necklace.

I just finished a memory wire bracelet for my mother with silver and gold color beads.

I need some ideas to do pieces.  I have so many beads to use and don't know what to do with them.

Suncatchers/Gem Show

It's been awhile since I have been on here.  I hope everyone is doing good and Happy New Year!!

Lately in the last week I have been making sun catchers to sell on my shop.  It has been fun making them.  Another way to use up my beads and memory wire.  I have three of them done, Green and Clear, Blue and Clear, Red and Clear.  I have already some people interested in them already.  Here is two of them.

In the next few weeks the Gem Show is coming back to Tucson, AZ.  I so can't wait to go.  I already have a date to go to there.  I just need to decide what I need to look for.  I know I need more finding and maybe some more beads.  Decision and more decision.  I'll put up my findings here when I get them.
