America's National Park Jewelry Series

 Last Christmas I got this book of the America's National Parks.  I want to do a series of jewelry of the colors I see in this book.  It will be different parks each time.  These photographs of the parks are done by Ian Shive.

 I was looking through a Stringing Magazine from Summer 2010.  I found a necklace that I thought I could make with different beads.  Here is the example:

Birmingham Civil Rights National Monument Jewelry - Day 9

I did another piece of jewelry from a National Monument I have been too.  This is a flyer from the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church in Alabama.  It is part of the park Birmingham Civil Rights National Monument.

I chose three colors that I saw in this flyer - blue, white and brown.  Here is what I made.
