Happy Birthday to Me!! Today I am turning 33.

Yesterday at work a customer gave me a bag of old jewelry that she didn't want anymore. I was very surprised. There is some very cool pieces in there. I can't wait to work on them.

Sold

Today at work I sold three of my necklaces. :) I am so happy. I only sold them for five dollars each but that is okay. I am glad that they liked them same has me. One was purple and off white, green and red and white, pink and green with clear flower beads. I need to make more. I am just wondering if I ask my work if I can put a table up there and see if I can sell stuff.

In the last two days I have made four more necklaces. I am so excited. The colors are: purple and black, red and green and white, green and pink, purple and white.

I just need to learn how to sell them. I read different things in magazine but I rarely see art shows around here.

I wish that we could do a art's and craft show here in our neighbor. I know some people that make things. I don't know.

Necklaces and Jewelry Party

For the last couple of days I have been very busy making necklaces. I made five them. I am so proud of myself. I am thinking of alot of good ideas. I am also having alot of fun making them too. Now I just need to figure out how to sale them. I want to do a jewelry party but I don't know what to do. I don't know that many people to invite and my mother says that her friends won't buy anything. I do have ideas to do for a party but I will have to see what I can do.

It's been awhile since I have been in here. Over the last few days I have been inspired to make things. I made a new necklace and I am right in the middle of making one. The new necklace is turquise with gold spacers with a gold feather charm. I like it. I think I did a great job on it. My mother likes it. Also the other one I am making is pink and white with a silver charm. I have so many beads that I need to make some new stuff.

Hopefully when our nighborhood has another yard sale that I will have some new stuff.

The other day I read in a bead magazine that to get color ideas from scrapbook paper. I would have never thought of that. I do have a lot of that I can use.

When I make jewelry it helps me relax. I am doing this for myself. Not for anyone else. I just try to get ideas. I have so many magazines that I look at and I have seen alot of good things to try in my own way.

Cones

I just took a class to learn how to use cones. It was very interesting. I am excited to do it. I am ready to work on it. I can't wait to do some alot of strands of jewelry.
