Christmas Highlights

Christmas Eve: We had a party. It was our 5th annual Christmas Eve party. There was about twenty people showed up. Mom made some great lasagna. I opened all my presents from friends. I got cat puzzle, cat picture, jewelry, gift cards.

Christmas Day: Opened presents from mom and Carl. I got pj's, three books, 24 inch tv, watch, jewelry. We went to a friends house for brunch. It was very good. Then that night we went to my stepdads house for dinner. Which was very good also. I got money and pieces for my bracelet.

It was a very good Christmas.

13 days left intil christmas. I have a few more things to get and then i am done. i started wrapping the gifts today. i didn't realize how much i got for people. i hope people enjoy everything.

it doesn't feel like christmas too me. i am just ready for a new year to start for me. this year was a not so good to me. i want to be better one for me and i keep telling myself it will be. i want to do more things and learn new things in the new year.

Yesterday at the store I did something that I haven't beable to do for a year. I walked in a place that I stayed away from for a year. I feel better that I did what I did. I am still do taking my time but I did it.

My first day went okay. We learned to basics. We got tought coffee, caffe latte. We did the register for a little bit. There is still alot I mean alot of stuff to learn. It's going to take me awhile to learn everthing escipally the drinks. I am still confused on the one that she tought me. I denfinely need time and hope they will give it too me. I did tell them that I have a learning issue and I am slow.

U of A football Game

Me and my friend Kimmy got to go to the football game last night. We were in row 13 on the 30 yard line. I have never been this close before. It was awesome. It was fun but of course we lost, 21-34. Thanks to Stephanie.

Starting next week I will be starting a new chapter. Starting on Tuesday I will be training to work in Starbucks to get more hours at the store. I feel okay in working there but not thrilled. But I do need the hours. It will take me awhile to learn all the drinks. Cathy has been a big help on answering questions that I have been having.

I have been wanted to do projects but I haven't had a chance to do anything new. There is a Halloween project I want to do.

I want to do some necklaces but I am so disorganized right now. Everything is so messy around me and I don't like it. But I don't know what to do about it. I have all my jewelry stuff in one spot. I have a notebook full of projects that I want to work on.

I don't know what to do with all my necklaces that I have. There are three boxes full. I want to have a party but I don't know who to invite and my mother says that they aren't good enough to sell to her friends or anybody.

I am finally home after house sitting for a week and half. I keep myself busy beside working I made six necklaces and I finished working on my ornaments. They are hanging up in the room where I work.

Over the last month I have been making key chains and safety pins pins. I have been teaching myself how to do them. I am glad that I am learning new things.

I got the new Stringing magazines. There are great items in there to make. I have so many things that I am making right now.

I need to make ornaments for six people. Then I can start working on new projects.

Over the weekend I made this card to put out in front of my store for the memorial that was sit up for all the people that lost their lives and who that are still hurting. On the Jan. 8th there was a shooting in front of the store I work at. I also found picture of my card and the pray candle that I put in the memorial on a website.

Today at work I sold three of my necklaces. :) I am so happy. I only sold them for five dollars each but that is okay. I am glad that they liked them same has me. One was purple and off white, green and red and white, pink and green with clear flower beads. I need to make more. I am just wondering if I ask my work if I can put a table up there and see if I can sell stuff.

In the last two days I have made four more necklaces. I am so excited. The colors are: purple and black, red and green and white, green and pink, purple and white.

I just need to learn how to sell them. I read different things in magazine but I rarely see art shows around here.

I wish that we could do a art's and craft show here in our neighbor. I know some people that make things. I don't know.

For the last couple of days I have been very busy making necklaces. I made five them. I am so proud of myself. I am thinking of alot of good ideas. I am also having alot of fun making them too. Now I just need to figure out how to sale them. I want to do a jewelry party but I don't know what to do. I don't know that many people to invite and my mother says that her friends won't buy anything. I do have ideas to do for a party but I will have to see what I can do.

It's been awhile since I have been in here. Over the last few days I have been inspired to make things. I made a new necklace and I am right in the middle of making one. The new necklace is turquise with gold spacers with a gold feather charm. I like it. I think I did a great job on it. My mother likes it. Also the other one I am making is pink and white with a silver charm. I have so many beads that I need to make some new stuff.

Hopefully when our nighborhood has another yard sale that I will have some new stuff.

The other day I read in a bead magazine that to get color ideas from scrapbook paper. I would have never thought of that. I do have a lot of that I can use.

When I make jewelry it helps me relax. I am doing this for myself. Not for anyone else. I just try to get ideas. I have so many magazines that I look at and I have seen alot of good things to try in my own way.

Four Necklaces Sold/Candle wire design

Well, I had my yard sale on Saturday. I sold four necklaces. They were all my good pieces too. So I was very happy. I know I didn't sell that much but I am glad that four people will have my designs that they will be wearing. I have alot more jewelry but some other time.

There is a candle wire design that I want to make for some people. I just need to get the wire and figure out how to do it. I have looked at some designs on the computer so we will see what happens.

Carport Sale on Saturday

This Saturday I am having a carport sale. I am going to be sale my jewelry. I priced everything from $2.00 - $10.00. I know that isn't much but my stuff is all the fancy stuff that you see out there. I hope everything goes well.

I don't make that many things. I make necklaces, wine glass rings, soon to make oranement hooks and I want to make candle decro. I do have alot of fun making them. It relaxes me from working all day. I do make bracelets once in awhile but I am not that good at it. I get them to big so I have to fix them alot. I don't make earrings that much either. It is hard to make them. I am glad that I got taught to make them.

It is so weird that is already November. There is a month and twenty-five days intil Christmas and then a few more days it will be a new year.

I have decided to put up a new site to show off my jewelry and just talk about jewelry.

In the last week I have made eight necklaces while I was homesitting.
